✷NOTICE FOR UK & EU CUSTOMERS✷
Due to VAT complications, I have had to pull UK from my shipping list at the start of 2021. I am required to collect and remit VAT prior to shipping UK orders, and the manual process of creating a tax account has been incredibly complex on my end. Once Squarespace (the platform I use for my storefront) manages to integrate a convenient way to automatically collect and remit VAT for me, I will be able to include UK back onto my shipping list! Until then, I will have to exclude UK to avoid any legal and financial complications with the UK government.
As for EU customers, there have been recent changes on custom fees. As of July 1st 2021, all orders going to any country in the European Union will get held at customs until any import taxes (such as VAT) are cleared. Fees vary from country to country and depend on the value of your order, so please check what the customs charges are like for international orders. Any customs charges/fees/taxes/duties are to be paid by the customer, not me. Orders that are held in customs will cause packages to delay in delivery time, so please keep tabs on your order to ensure it doesn’t get abandoned at customs and returned to me.
If any orders are returned to me from customs, I can either:
Ship the order back to you, but you will be responsible for paying the shipping again
Refund the value of your order minus the shipping + 10% restocking fee (contents of the order must be in an acceptable condition in order to process the refund)
By placing an order, I will assume you have read through and agreed to these terms!
Thank you for understanding ☺︎
